Usual habitat/distribution: Marshy and poorly drained spots usually around reeds and grasses.
Description: Flower gets about 20 – 45cm tall with anywhere up to 60 flowers in a distinctive spiral arrangement. Can’t really be mixed up with anything else!

Snapped this one on private property near Deddington. We found two groups, each with three spikes in the clump. Growing alongside a dried out creek amongst the grasses and sedges at the edge of a sheep paddock.
