Maroonhood (or as my daughter calls them ‘Llama orchids’ because they look like llamas)

Flowering:
Late winter to spring

Usual habitat/distribution:
Wet sclerophyll, damp gullies, shaded places.
Widespread through the North, East and South East.

Status:
Not listed

Description:
Rosette of leaves at base. About 15cm tall flower stem. Maroon/brown hood, green and white striped toward base of flower. Flowers are solitary. Labellum dark red/brown and not obviously visible.
Usually found in colonies.
