Woodlands and heathlands within 20km of coast. Well drained soils
Northern, Eastern and Southern Tasmania.

Description:
Thick fleshy scape, 15-45cm tall. 1-9 flowers per stem. Purple hairs covering the labellum, sometimes bronze, sometimes green. Basal hairs reduced to short calli, dark eye spot at base of column.
